Snowy, Searing Silence

In my world
in my life
all i encounter
is snow
and dreary cold

Everywhere I search for life
i cannot return from where I came
tracks are gone
faded, in the snow

And when I found light
i reached for life
the sincerity and kindness
alone, in the snow

Every time I reach
strength growing weary
like dearth I fall back
I'll never reach
I cannot reach
the warmth within this snow
